Center For Public Interest Law was founded in 1980. It is a division of University of San Diego School of Law. CPIL occupies with research and advocacy in regulatory and public interest law. Institution focuses on state regulatory agencies. Students have classes in regulatory, consumer, and public interest law. CPIL publishes the California Regulatory Law Reporter. This reporter regulates activities of 25 major California regulatory agencies. Center For Public Interest Law also has an advocacy component. It prepares specialists for California's legislature, courts, and regulatory agencies. CPI tries to improve quality of work of California government.
